Who are Horton Electrical?

 

After leaving school, Darren started his apprenticeship with a local electrical company in Frome, Somerset along with day release at college.  He gained a wealth of knowledge from everyday domestic electrical work to schools and colleges, estimating and ordering. When the owner retired Darren started work at a local leisure industry holiday park, where he worked on various electrical installations, cabins, restaurants and the leisure facilities.

 

In 2004, Darren moved to Poole and worked for a number of electrical companies and housing associations, before setting up Horton Electrical in 2014.

Over his 36  years of experience, he has seen the industry evolve and has kept up with the latest regulations and technology. Darren is qualified to current regulations (BS 7671 18th Edition wiring regulations).  He is a member of the NICEIC, Trade Experts, Local Heroes and the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS).   Horton Electricals' work is yearly assessed by the NICEIC and covered  by the Platinum Promise.
